When I began to use Emacs, back in the dark ages, Elisp was something like heavy wizardry to me. Nobody in my peer group knew Elisp, heck, nobody but me even used emacs.
But respire! This is constantly changing over the last years, thanks to such great tutorials like this one: Kris Jenkins recorded an awesome video in which he codes an Emacs Spotify client within 16 minutes (live coding!). Watch and enjoy – I did for sure!
